Some general tips
Choosing a program requires careful attention from each potential candidate whether they are young people, students, participants' parents or adults. That’s why we advise you to follow these few basic rules:
- Don’t decide at the last minute, take the time to select your program.
- Define your objectives well.
- Parents: Never force your child to participate in a program if they do not want to, as this can impinge on and become a detriment to their experiences abroad.
- If you are under 16 years old, or are leaving home for the first time, avoid destinations that are too far away according to what you are comfortable with.
- Compare prices and programs.
- Be open to integrating into a new culture in order to take advantage of the intercultural learning emphasized in these study abroad programs.
When should I register?
As soon as possible! Registering at the last minute prevents you from having the best living accommodations available. Certain programs fill up quickly due to their high demand and small class sizes.

- You will have more choices. The longer you wait, the more likely it is that the programs will fill up and you will have less of a chance of finding what you want.
- Remember that all the language schools whose programs we promote and offer are international schools that host and teach students from all over the world!
- Book early and have more housing options, such as student residences and shared appartments
- Save on the cost of your transportation. Airlines now have “yield management” policies, which means that as the flight fills up, the prices go up.
Departure formalities
A valid form of identification or a passport is still necessary for EU citizens to cross borders within the European Union.
If they do not have a passport, unaccompanied minors must have an identity card and exit authorization permit.
Citizens who do not live in the EU should check with the Embassy or Consulate of the country of their destination in order to comply with border formalities, in particular, whether or not obtaining a visa is necessary.

Transportation
Transportation is not included in the price of our programs.
For your comfort and security, our partner schools organize, upon request, transportation to and from the airport or train station to your place of residence or to the school.
If you plan on buying roundtrip airfare, we advise you to arrange your own flights, instead of using a trval agency, as there are many great deals and prices available on the internet.
Don’t forget to compare prices and airlines to find the best deal at the lowest cost available for your destination.

Travel insurance will protect you against specific risks during your trip:

This insurance should cover most or all aspects of your credit card.

- Accident or sickness ( hospital fees abroad and reparations).
- The cost of cancelling your trip due to reasons beyond your control.
- In case of theft or deterioration of your personal affects during your study abroad.

- All risk possibilities with Visa cards and Premier Gold card.
