Course description
Located 20 minutes on foot from the center of town, 8 minutes by bus and 5 minutes on foot from Charminster Road.Pedagogy
All of our teachers are dedicated to teaching English, and have a TESOL Teaching Certificate or Diploma . BEET runs regular in-service training programs for all the teachers. By doing so, they keep up-to-date with the latest developments in methodology, which they can assimilate into the existing teaching techniques.Classes normally operate on an alternating “zig-zag” timetable. This means that one day the standard course is in the afternoon, and the following day it is in the morning. Elective lessons on the options program remain at the same time each day. This system provides you with concentrated periods of free time, including a long weekend every other week, which makes it easier to organize your leisure time.
Activities
Activities outside the classroom are an important part of life at BEET. They offer a very comprehensive program. You have the opportunity to continue practicing your English and form friendships outside your classes while also learning more about life in England.Equipment
All thirty computers are equipped with CD-ROM, headphones, and microphones. There is a wide range of interactive CDs for both classroom use and self-study. The language laboratory units offer you the following areas to choose from, such as pronunciation, listening skills and grammatical exercises.
