ELC Boston is just one block away from delightful art galleries, boutiques, bookstores, and sidewalk cafes that line cosmopolitan Newbury Street. It’s also close to the Charles River.
Pedagogy
All of the professors are certified and specialize in teaching English to non-native speakers. They are all American native English speakers.
Activities
ELC center publishes a monthly excursion calendar which students receive on their first day of classes. Weekday activities include outings in and around Boston. Weekend trips are planned for regional cities and attractions.
Equipment
The school is a test center for the TOEIC and an exam center for the FCE, CAE and CPE.

Classes meet Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 3:30pm Students are trained to take both the online version of the TOEFL and the paper version of the TOEFL. Institutional TOEFL preparation is offered every month at all ELC centers Examination fees are not included and must be paid directly at the school. Register for the exam directly at the school upon your arrival.
The student residence is located in the center of Boston and is just minutes on foot to the school. Housing available only in shared rooms: doubles, triples, or quadruples. Each room is equipped with a telelvision, telephone, refridgerator, microwave, and air-conditioning. A security deposit of 150 US dollars must be given on arrival. (for arrivals after 10 p.m. an extra payment of 50 US dollars is required)
