Course description
The ELC Summer English Program at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) gives the individual the opportunity to live on a beautiful American campus while studying English with ELC.This program is offered only during July and August. You will attend a standard language course :This course is recommended for those who wish to learn a language, and also have the opportunity to practice it outside the classroom.
You will learn communication skills that will be useful in a variety of everyday situations.
Classes focus on the main language skills :
- speaking
- listening
- reading
- writing
These four skills are practically applied to learning about the local culture
Content:
Depending on the needs and interests of the group, the course includes:- grammar
- vocabulary
- oral comprehension
- speaking
- role play
- pronunciation
- reading
- writing
