ILI Arabic Language Institute was established in 1975. Over the years we have handled a huge range of students: Individuals, company groups, archeologists, business-people, diplomats, UN agencies, VSO, university students and professors, tourist language/culture groups, foreign offices/embassies and even the British Army (Yes, we did!).
Course description
The ILI Building is well situated in the heart of Cairo. The ILI Arabic Language Institute has 18 air-conditioned classrooms, a Restaurant, a Student Library and Study Room/ an Internet Center, WIFI is available.The building has recently been completely refurbished and air-conditioned and offers excellent facilities to the students.
Pedagogy
All ILI teaching staff are properly trained to "CTEFLA" standards (Cambridge RSA), as well as being Arabic language specialists.ILI is recognized by International House as an efficient teacher training center for 'Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language'.

Our advice
Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) is the written language of Arabic. It is developed from Classical Arabic which is the language of the Holy Quran. MSA is the language of newspapers and the media. It is a 'living' language, drawn up by educated people and intellectuals. The objective of our MSA courses is to enable you to read and write at an appropriate academic level, and to enable you to follow current day-to-day events in the Middle East and North Africa. Our MSA courses also serve as an introduction to the enormous wealth of Arabic literature.
