Founded in 1953, St. Clare's is a unique independent English language school, and a college at Oxford offering study abroad options for US students.
St. Clare's occupies several converted Victorian buildings along the Banbury and Bardwell roads forming the two distinct sites of the Banbury Road Campus and the Bardwell Road Center. The college also owns 19 residential houses with the capacity to house up to 325 students.
Today, there are over 40 nationalities represented in the IB (International Baccalaurreate)program alone!

Course description
Our campus is made up of two centers located in elegant north Oxford. Our students live in stylish houses or apartments close to shops, cafes, restaurants, library, riverside parks and places to play sports.Oxford is one of Europe's most beautiful cities due to its universities, museums, parks and art galleries. It is also a lively city as it is home to over 30.000 students at the two universities and other colleges.
Oxford is in the center of England, surrounded by beautiful countryside, and close to many attractions in London, Stratford upon Avon, Bath, Windsor, the Cotswolds and Winchester, are all within close distance and Cambridge can be visited as a day trip.
