Venice, Italy is still one of the most interesting and lovely places in the world. Venice is built on one hundred and seventeen small islands, holds one hundred and fifty canals, and is connected by an astounding four hundred and nine bridges, three of which cross the main canal. Though it is small, with area covering a mere 458 kilometres or about 285 square miles, it is grand in its history. It is so easy to get lost for hours, or even a day in the incredible attractions in Venice. Venice, however, isn’t only just a city with crowded streets. There are mysterious alleyways leading off from the city, endless mazes of backstreets and deserted squares where one can find the real soul of Venice.
