Course description

Benalmadena is an attractive coastal town of the Costa del Sol (approx. 50.000 inhabitants) situated on a hill at the foot of the Mijas mountains range, only 18 kms. from Málaga city and 8 kms. from Málaga international airport, which is within 3 hours flying time from most european capitals. Originally a sleepy Andalusian fishing village with beautiful white washed houses, Benalmadena has developed into a lively and animated town which retains its old charm and character. The town is small enough to provide a peaceful and secure environment, while large enough to offer good shops, hotels and restaurants, a large park and a modern sports centre. Benalmadena offers a wide range of amenities for all ages, such as an amusement park, a water park, an outdoor cinema, a shopping centre, a casino, 18 hole golf greens and the popular Puerto Marina de Benalmadena, with 978 mooring slips, a sailing school, an aquarium and a diving school. It has become one of the favorite meeting places for young people for its dazzling nightlife.

Activities

This school of primary and secondary education has spacious classrooms, a cafeteria, a computer room, common areas, a small theater, a gym, sports fields and outdoor swimming pool. The program for adolescents takes place in this building during the month of July.

Equipment

There are 2 buildings for the summer programme :
- The language school which is located on the top floor of a modern building. It has 13 spacious classrooms, with air conditioning and equiped with video material. The school has also got a screening room, a conference room, a library, a computer room, a large terrace with a cafeteria, a lounge, and free wifi. In June and August the summer programme takes place in this building. Colegio Maravillas High school, a primary and secondary school, equipped with large classrooms, a cafeteria, a computer room, social areas, a small theatre, a gym, outdoor sport grounds and a swimming pool. The summer programme is held in this building in July.
