BULATS preparation (Cardiff in Wales)

BULATS stands for the Business Language Testing Service.
The test is carefully designed to be suitable for a wide range of people at work – technicians,
secretaries or managers, in banking, in education or in manufacturing, in administration, research or marketing. It does not require any previous business experience, and so it is also suitable for students who may need to use the foreign language in the future.

Our BULATS Business English course is an ideal course for professionals, trainees or students. The course follows an integrated general skills programme, with a business focus. You will cover the areas of reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. We aim to increase your confidence in your daily use of the language and to help you gain the practical skills you need to use English in the business environment.
As we are registered Cambridge ESOL centre you can sit the standard BULATS Reading and Listening exam online at the end of your course. Results are instant and you will be given a certificate at the end of your test. We can also arrange the Speaking and Writing exam, if required.
Exam fees not included.

Location: city centre, next to Cardiff Central Station. Check in: Sunday 15:00 onward. Check out: Sunday 9:00 at the latest. Includes:. • Communal living area with digital TV and vending machine. • 4ft double bed with under bed storage. • Desk area for self-study. • Bedding and towels are provided by Celtic English Academy. • En-suite shower, toilet and sink. • Free WiFi. • Bike storage. • Laundry facility. • Manned reception area 24 hours a day. There is no single sex accommodation in standard residential accommodation. A refundable residence deposit of £100 is payable at the time of booking. This will be refunded upon check out.

These contemporary apartments are for students aged 30+ They offer students the opportunity to live with their friends in a self-contained cluster flat whilst still enjoying the common room facilities available to all students. Each room is fully furnished with:

  • Double bed (4 ft wide) with under bed storage
  • Wardrobe, shelving
  • Storage drawers
  • Desk with desk chair
  • Wired broadband in all bedrooms and wireless Internet throughout the whole building
  • En-suite shower, toilet and sink
  • Blackout blinds
  • Bed linen and a towel (provided by Celtic English Academy).
