Tamwood has a strict "English Only" policy in all of its schools, which means that students are required to speak English only while in the school and on activities. Both the standard and intensive language course increase your general knowledge of the language, and allow you to acquire everyday communication skills. The intensive language course is great for those who prefer a more focused and intensive environment in which to learn a language.

The Whistler English school is a spacious and modern building with large, bright classrooms, well-furnished student lounge, computer lab, ski equipment storage room, tuning room and a meeting area.
Students use the computer lab to do research on the internet for presentations, use modern language learning CD ROM programs, study grammar, and practice their pronunciation.
