Highlights The IELTS Examination preparation - International English Language Testing System

The IELTS is an English exam which evaluates general oral and written understanding. This exam is recognized by universities throughout the world and can only act as a benefit to prove your knowledge. This is recommended for people with a minimum intermediate language level and is valid for submission to schools for up to two years after you take it.

This test is available as an “academic test” and as a “general test” to measure basic language skills.

The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is composed of 4 different sections: Listening, reading, writing and speaking.
  • Writing comprehension: This 1 hour and 15 minute section is composed of 40 questions which test the comprehension of written texts
  • Oral Comprehension: This 30 minute section is composed of 40 questions which test listening comprehension.
  • Written expression: This 1 hour and 15 minute section consists of writing 2 essays of 150 and 250 words respectively.
  • Oral Expression: This 15 minute section is comprised of an individual interview with a test proctor and challenges your speaking abilities.
