General English + Business English

Two week course for business professionals and students. General English 20 lessons per week plus 10 lessons per week. Business English in a mini group (maximum class size 6 students for the Business English option). English for Business is also available as individual tuition or in closed groups, subject to availability.
Enhance your business communication skills to succeed in today’s fast-paced global economy. This English for Business course is for people who either plan to work or are already working in the field of business and commerce. The course covers a wide range of business language skills, including the language of presentations, the language of seminars, conferences and meetings, and describing tables and graphs. You will be introduced to structures, expressions and vocabulary in specific business situations. Your teacher will show you how to speak clearly and effectively in English about complex ideas with increased confidence.

• Feel comfortable making small talk, entertaining, & socialising in a business context;
• Broaden your business related vocabulary;
• Improve cross-cultural understanding in a business context;
• Improve business writing skills especially digital: emails, texts & tweets.

Students learn and practise their business and cross-cultural communication skills, presentation, networking, negotiation and business etiquette, with a focus on business vocabulary for specific business situations.
