TOEIC Preparation Course (Cork in Ireland)

The English for International Communication test (TOEIC) evaluates an individual’s ability to use English in an international work environment.

TOEIC Preparation Course - Cork English College - CEC 20 general English course or business English (for the intermediate students) + 6 TOEIC preparation course. 26 lessons per week (26:00 hours)

This course is aimed at students who wish to achieve the highest possible grades in the TOEIC test. The vocabulary in the morning classes helps the students to perform better in the reading comprehension test as a wide range of business-related vocabulary is essential for the TOEIC test. In the afternoon sessions, the students are given an introduction to the test and then practise the seven areas of the test. Explanations and exam tips are given in class by the teacher and some afternoon sessions include practice tests carried out within the time limits and under exam conditions.

Our Residential apartments are self-catering and consist of 5 or 6 bedrooms, with a shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Bed linen can be hired from the apartments but students must bring their own towels. All kitchen utensils, crockery etc. are provided and laundry facilities are available. There is broadband in all rooms. Apartments are cleaned on a weekly basis. The campus is based just 15 minutes from the school and is close to public transport and local amenities. On arrival students are requested to call the number provided to arrange a suitable meeting point. Arrivals will not be accepted later than 12 midnight
