An intensive course is generally more than 22 hours a week.

The Crown Institute of Studies is considered to be one of the best schools in New Zealand.
Established in 1972, it has received awards for excellent quality as assessed by NZQA (The New Zealand Qualifications Authority).
Auckland is a clean and spacious city, located between two natural harbors. There are beautiful parks, beaches, and islands. There is also an exciting city life, with restaurants, shops and entertainment. Auckland is considered one of the world's most agreeable places to live.

  • Class size : 15 max.
  • Minimum level required : Beginner to Advanced
  • Minimum age : 18 years
  • Course : Monday to Friday

Intensive Semester Program Abroad - Crown Institute of Studies Choose the number of weeks

15 General English Courses + 8 courses ( 2 hours each day Monday-Thursday. On friday afternoons you can choose 2 hours self study)
If you study an Intensive course, you can choose one of the following afternoon options. You can also change options during your course if you wish. If you do not know which afternoon option you want to study, you can decide when you arrive at Crown. Afternoon options are from 1.15 pm – 3.30 pm (Monday – Thursday). EnglishPLUS afternoon options are subject to demand and may require minimum class numbers to run.
Beginner to Advanced:

  • Conversation (minimum 2 weeks)
  • Individual Study Program (ISP)
  • Prononciation
  • Activity programme
    Elementary to Advanced:
  • Reading, writing and grammar (minimum 4 weeks)
  • Pronunciation (3 weeks)
  • English for employment (3 weeks)
    Intermediate to Advanced:
  • New Zealand Studies (3 weeks)
