FCE Preparation Course - First Certificate in English (Honolulu in United States)

The FCE indicates level of English proficency and practical use in clerical, secretarial and managerial jobs in many industries, particularly tourism, where contact with English speakers is required. Successful candidates must have the ability to handle routine letters and telephone inquiries.
After passing the exam, you will receive a certificate awarded by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. This certificate is recognized by universities and employers throughout the world.

Practice and enjoy using English in a friendly environment provided by our general English course. As our most popular program, we offer classes for every English learner. All levels cover reading, writing, listening, & speaking with a focus on communication.

The exam will take place the week following the preparation:
The $25 “English Only Deposit” fee is to be paid in cash the first day at school.
Every time that you speak a language other than English at ICC, or on ICC activities and events, a violation will be noted on this form.
A $5 fine will be deducted from your $25 English Only deposit for each violation.
Schedule : 8:30 - 12:30 Monday to Friday

Entrance Requirement:
Applicants for all Cambridge courses must pass an entrance exam upon arrival. Students must have a comfortable understanding of English (at the higher end of intermediate level) to be accepted into the course. If their level is not adequate, they will be counseled regarding further options.
Official tests will be given within 8 days of the last day of class. Dates and times are subject to change.
ICC Hawaii is recognized by Cambridge ESOL as an Authorised Centre for PET, FCE, CAE, and CPE Examinations.

This residence is mainly dedicated to seniors and located in the heart of Waikiki. It’s just walking distance to many shops, restaurants and nigh-life. You will also find yourself only walking distance to Waikiki Beach. Each room is equipped with a table, TV, internet connection, air conditioning, hair dryer, iron, private bathroom and kitchenette. Sheets and towels are provided. Check-out Cleaning Fee : $190. If you do not book airport transfers expect $ 55 of moving expenses.
