The school takes up the entire 34th floor of Brooklyn’s tallest landmark building, which was built in 1928. The views of Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Statue of Liberty are breathtaking!

Combined Course

This program combines group language courses in the morning that encourage students to interact and help a student to improve practical communication skills. The individual language classes in the afternoon allow you to concentrate on your areas of weakness and on things that interest you personally.

One-to-One Course

This program offers personalized teaching in individual language courses in order to accomplish specified goals in a short amount of time.
This is the perfect option for those who have certain goals or a time limit. It is particularly useful for professionals who would like to prepare for a presentation, negotiations or a trip abroad. This is a tailor-made course in which you may evolve at your own pace and work at your own level.

Standard Course

This program is recommended for those who wish to learn a language and also be able to do other activities. Improve your communication skills through application in a variety of everyday situations. This course enables you to improve your grammatical knowledge, your vocabulary and your pronunciation.
The standard general course is suitable for those who want to learn or improve a language, while having the opportunity to practice it everyday in the country where it is spoken.
A standard course is generally less than 22 hours a week.

Mini Group Course

Small group courses are ideal for you if you are really motivated, yet do not have a lot of time to study.
This training guarantees a maximum amount of progress in a short amount of time. Courses are organized in a seminar style with a maximum of 6 students.
The course will help you develop your general English skills in several key areas, including conversation, listening, reading and grammar.
The intensive course option also offers a business option.

Summer courses for young adults

A summer course designed for young adults who want to benefit from language courses with supervised activities but not to be placed with teeanagers.

All of our teachers are trained to design lessons around their students’ interests to make learning contextual, to keep their students motivated, and to build learner confidence.

Brooklyn School of Languages New York Brooklyn Activities

We offer weekly activities and excursions to places of interest throughout New York City. These are often linked to our enrichment program, and therefore free for students enrolled In the Semi-Intensive Course. Other students are welcome to sign up for these activities at school.
