This program is recommended for those who wish to learn a language and also be able to do other activities. Improve your communication skills through application in a variety of everyday situations. This course enables you to improve your grammatical knowledge, your vocabulary and your pronunciation.
The standard general course is suitable for those who want to learn or improve a language, while having the opportunity to practice it everyday in the country where it is spoken.
A standard course is generally less than 22 hours a week.

STANDARD ENGLISH & NYC DISCOVERY EXPERIENCE
The English & NYC Discovery Experience take place at indoor & outdoor locations throughout New York and center around weekly conversation topics and NYC themes. English sessions focus on practicing speaking, improving overall fluency, and building confidence. Groups are kept small (maximum of 8) and are divided into three levels giving you plenty of opportunities to speak and meet people at your same language level.
Group locations alternate between Brooklyn and Manhattan’s best parks, markets, and public atriums, and on three mornings per week you are on the move and exploring the city with EO’s Discovery Days. Discovery Days give you a fully immersive experience by practicing your English in real-life scenarios while exploring both iconic New York spots and some of the city’s best hidden gems. You will discover new neighborhoods, visit famous New York City museums and landmarks, and discuss themes related to art, immigration, the city’s history, and more.
All locations have been carefully selected based on comfort and accessibility and vary between outdoor and indoor locations to allow for all types of weather. There is no better way to combine English and NYC tourism!
