Our College is located in the very heart of Manchester near many shops, cafes, restaurants and hotels. We are a short walk from Piccadilly Gardens, China Town, and Manchester Central Library, along with Piccadilly train station, and major tram and bus links.
The second campus is only an 8 minute walk from the main campus.

The teachers at NCM are qualified. All of our staff are very approachable and students therefore feel at ease. Many of our teachers have lived abroad so they understand the needs of foreign students.

New College Manchester - NCG junior Manchester Activities

Social activities are a great way to meet other students as well as chatting with your teacher outside of lessons. The majority of the activities are free of charge. If you do have to pay, the average cost of a half-day excursion is approximately £10-£15 and a full day excursion is £30-£50.
The College regularly organizes events like going to the theatre, or Manchester United football ground, plus visiting museums… lots of things!! Check out our notice boards on each floor for this month’s trips.

There is free Wi-Fi access throughout the College building.
Our students have access to a self-study IT suite where they can chat with their friends and family online, check e-mails, and conduct research related to their study. Our library is a great place for studying, picking up classic English literature, looking through course books, magazines, newspapers, Business and Management related articles, and Tourism and Hospitality management books.
We have a prayer room which is available to all students of all faiths.
The Student Lounge is a place where you can relax and chat with your friends. The lounge has a TV, football table along with hot and cold drink and snack machines.
We have 10 well-equipped classrooms, varying in size in order to accommodate students’ needs and learning requirements. We provide lessons using Interactive White Boards in classrooms with natural light from the large windows.

New College Manchester - NCG junior Standard Course - Ages 16-17 years

This program is recommended for those who wish to learn a language and also be able to do other activities. Improve your communication skills through application in a variety of everyday situations. This course enables you to improve your grammatical knowledge, your vocabulary and your pronunciation.
The standard general course is suitable for those who want to learn or improve a language, while having the opportunity to practice it everyday in the country where it is spoken.
A standard course is generally less than 22 hours a week.

New College Manchester - NCG junior Intensive Course - Ages 16-17 years

Both the standard and intensive language course increase your general knowledge of the language, and allow you to acquire everyday communication skills. The intensive language course is great for those who prefer a more focused and intensive environment in which to learn a language.
An intensive course is generally more than 22 hours a week.
