The programme includes:
30 lessons of German per week
Highly qualified teachers who are German native speakers
Modern and communicative teaching methods
Optional preparation for OSD certificates
24 hours support and supervision!
At the Summer School our staff is available round the clock! Independent outings from the premises require written permission by the student's parents.
Accommodation & Meals
All students are accommodated full-board. International dishes (and also Austrian specialities) are served at mealtimes.
There are three meals per day at the school refectory:
Breakfast: buffet with ham, cheese, jam, bread, tea, coffee or cocoa.
Lunch: 3 courses with starter, warm main dish and dessert.
Dinner: nearly always warm (sometimes cold after excursions), sometimes barbecue evenings.
All meals are self-service and you are welcome to go back for an extra serving.
If you require vegetarian or Halaal food, please indicate this when booking.
Sports & Activity Programme
Included Leisure Activities
- Sporting Activities: there are a number of sporting activities available: volleyball, football, swimming, table-tennis, "Olympic Games", visits to outdoor swimming pools and the Danube Island.
- Creative activities : you can do craft work, make music or go to waltzing lessons,or join a theatre group or newspaper workshop.
- Other activities: staff organize excursions, films, shows, treasure hunts, barbecues, disco evenings, city walks, karaoke, welcome and farewell parties.
Optional programme - Tennis: for tennis freaks there are lessons in small groups with a coach. Please bring a tennis racket with you!
- Culture Special: if you are a culture fan this is for you. Weekly excursions to museums, palaces and visits to the theatre or opera. Guided tours, staff member in attendance and admission included.
- Excursions: those interested in getting to know more about Austria can register for various excursions e.g. to Salzburg, Wachau/Danube valley, Lake Neusiedl or Hinterbrühl Grotto.
- Concert or Musical: don't miss out on an evening at one of Vienna's famous theatres.
Public Transport: EUR 17.10 per week (oblig. for students 15+ years, subject to change)
