Your level of English must be sufficient to be able to follow the Fashion design Summer course: here there are no traditional language courses.

This two-week summer course is perfect for students aged 15-18 with a passion for fashion that want to explore the design and styling processes within the fashion industry.
This summer course is ideal for anyone that’s considering further studies or a career in fashion. Throughout the course you’ll be introduced to the key concepts in fashion design, styling, promotion, editorial and blogging.
You’ll be guided through initial research and fashion analysis sessions using techniques including collage, 3D experimentation and work on colour and styling. You’ll explore drawing styles and fashion illustration – a key skill for those wanting to join the industry and learn how to express your designs figuratively.
You’ll deconstruct and sketch garments as well participate in experimental workshops in draping, pattern cutting and fabric to inform your own garment designs. Tutor-led seminars will explore the ‘business’ side of the fashion industry including blogging, advertising, and fashion editorial.
Plus, you’ll learn how to showcase your work for presentations and prepare a fashion folio. At the end of the course there’ll be a professional photo shoot to record your finished garments with an exhibition showcase and group critique of work produced.
