Our Business Leadership Programme is a special course for students who want to be future business leaders.
This course will develop their general and business-related language skills, give them practical knowledge from experienced business managers and entrepreneurs, and provide exciting opportunities to learn about local businesses.
Course overview
On this course, students will:
- Develop business-specific knowledge, language and vocabulary as well as grammar and pronunciation skills
- Become young entrepreneurs gaining experience in running their own business
- Improve their confidence, fluency and accuracy when communicating in English
- Be inspired and get useful insights and feedback from real-life business managers and entrepreneurs
- Meet new friends from across the world

LESSONS
Business skills
Lessons will focus on business-focused language skills and important ideas and methods used in business and entrepreneurship.
Students will learn and practise using business vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation skills. They will also prepare for the LinguaSkills exam, which they will take at the end of the course.
Students will also explore how to start a business in today’s competitive world, looking at topics like making a product, handling money, communicating at work, and understanding modern customers.
ACTIVITIES
Bell Business Challenge
As part of the course, students will work in groups to make a business plan and present it to a group of judges.
Week 1: Planning Develop a business idea by doing market research, managing money, and create an advertising campaign
Week 2: Implementing and evaluating Start the business, evaluate the progress, and reinvest profits
Presentation Teams show their project and talk about what went well and what can be improved
The team with the best product or service will win a special prize!

STUDY TOURS
Gaining new life experiences
There is no better way to learn about British life and culture than to experience it for yourself. All study tours on the Young Business Leaders course are business-themed and involve visits to local businesses and relevant destinations.
On the study tours, students develop their language skills and business knowledge by:
Having question and answer sessions with managers and experts
Doing interviews and market research
Taking part in fact finding challenges
Completing activity sheets
Students will spend 5.5 days on study tours to UK destinations during their three-week programme.
