Small group courses are ideal for you if you are really motivated, yet do not have a lot of time to study.
This training guarantees a maximum amount of progress in a short amount of time. Courses are organized in a seminar style with a maximum of 6 students.
The course will help you develop your general English skills in several key areas, including conversation, listening, reading and grammar.
The intensive course option also offers a business option.

Home Group 6 is a fresh and unique way to learn English. Study in a small group (maximum 6 students) in the relaxed environment of your teacher’s home and make friends with your new classmates. Students really enjoy the friendly family atmosphere of the “home classroom”. After the morning lessons students take part in afternoon trips to local places of interest with their activity organizer.
The package price for this course includes:

  • Transfer on arrival and departure (London airports, Kent ports and Eurostar stations)
  • Full board homestay accommodation. Students are placed with other students of the same sex (different nationality) and accommodation is generally in twin rooms
  • 20 lessons per week in the home of the teacher
  • Approximately one hour’s daily self-study in the family (revision or project work)
  • Culture and leisure activity programme every weekday afternoon
  • All transport provided
  • 2 full-day trips
  • End-of-course Certificate of Achievement

Maximum of six students, and no more than two students of the same nationality, in each teaching group.

  • Approximative time to school : 15 min. by transportation
  • Minimum age : 14 years

Students stay with a local host family in the Whitstable area where they are welcomed as one of the family during their stay. As the accommodation is full board, their family provide them with all of their meals (packed lunches when necessary). Rooms can be single or twin, and students often share the family with another student of a different nationality who will also be in class with them. Friends wishing to choose this programme can be placed in the same Group 6 location. Students normally arrive and depart on the same day (Saturday or Sunday), although additional nights accommodation can be offered.
