The main objective of this program is to help students understand English, and improve their ability to communicate with confidence, especially within a business situation.
This course introduces key business concepts, while allowing students to develop practical skills within real business scenarios such as presentations, negotiations, telephone conversations, meetings and discussions. This is a specialized language program that caters to your professional needs!

St Clare's is an international school where English is taught to students around the world since 1953. Every summer, the school organizes English courses for international students. The proposed programs combine studies and leisure and cultural activities.

Business in Oxford prepares teenagers who are planning to study business or economics at school or college and helps develop the core skills for an international career.
The programme develops collaborative and cooperative learning and includes a visit to a business in Oxford and presentation by a guest speaker with first-hand experience of the world of business.
Participants benefit from:
– developing a confident interview style
– conducting a business research project
– practising persuasive presentation skills
– debating the impact of current issues on the economy

Each house has a resident responsible for the students. The houses have a shared TV room, DVD player as well as a laundry room. All meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, are eaten in the reception room in the college. Room assignments are done according to age and gender and we attempt to mix different nationalities. Supervision is provided by the counselors during classes, activities and at night. Key/damage deposit : £30 payable on arrival, refundable at the end of stay.
