Memorable learning experiences
• Our small, safe and secluded campus offers fully equipped classrooms and IT facilities. Also, our spacious outdoor spaces include woodlands, grassy playing fields, sports hall, tennis courts and a swimming pool. All of this is just minutes from the centre of Oxford.
• Campus-based activities provide something for everyone. They include ball games like football, touch-rugby, swimming, tennis, arts and crafts, board games, quizzes, treasure trails, talent shows and a circus skills workshop.
• Unforgettable excursions to Harry Potter World and London including popular attractions like the London Eye and Natural History Museum.
ACCOMMODATION
• All bedding and towels are provided, and a personal laundry service is available.
• Boys and girls live in separate areas, and share with students of a similar age.
WELFARE AND SAFETY
• High staff-to-student ratio provides a supportive environment for you to enjoy your time at St Clare’s.
• On arrival, we look after any valuables and travel documents to keep them safe.
• Our experienced team members provide supervision 24-hours a day.
• The specialist activity team accompany you on all trips to help you make the most of these new experiences.

• Lesson Length : 55 min. - Arrivée/Départ : Sunday to Saturday

Improve your language skills for everyday activities
• Grow in confidence in all four English language skills - speaking, listening, reading and writing.
• Develop vocabulary through projects inspired by Oxford’s cultural and academic resources.
• Open your mind to new experiences with visits to places of cultural and historic interest in Oxford and London.

The price includes:

• 18 hours of language study per week
  Morning lessons: General English / Language skills (3 hours on 4 mornings per week)
  Afternoon lessons: Language practice (2 hours on 2 afternoons per week)
• Transportation to and from the airport
  (if flight arrives between 09:00 and 18:30 on Sunday and departs between 10:00 and 18:00 from London Heathrow airport on Saturday)
• All meals, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks
  the younger children sleep in in rooms with 2, 3, or 4 beds per room. Most rooms have sinks with bathrooms and toilets nearby.
• Course Journal - students keep a record of their work and experiences
• Specially designed class activities including team games, using puppets, story-telling, songs etc.
• Exciting program of after-class activities
• 3 supervised trips per week e.g. London, Laser Quest, Chessington World of Adventures, museums, 10 pin bowling etc.
• Course diary, placement test, student file, academic report and attendance certificate

Supervision

There is a 1:8 ratio of staff to students. The Course Director is joined by an Activities Director, Director of Studies and a Welfare Officer. In addition there will be up to eight qualified and experienced teachers and an Activities Team of between six to eight enthusiastic and qualified staff members.
Boys and girls are accommodated in livng environments separately . Each house is supervised by our 'live-in' staff. The younger children sleep in small dormitories with 4 or 6 beds. Most rooms have hand basins with bathrooms and toilets nearby. Sharing rooms with children from other countries is great fun and helps with English as they make new friends.

Pocket money :

We think £50 per week is plenty! You will also need £20 extra for your damage deposit.
