Program for Juniors with an advanced language level (Los Angeles in United States)

Allow young people who do not necessarily need or want to have language courses, to practise the language of their choice in a stimulating context.
Their level in the practice of the language allows them to participate in more specialized programs or in activities which can be shared with natives.

During the months of July and August, students have a unique opportunity to live among American college students, on campus, at one of the world's most famous universities.

Ofrecemos a los estudiantes júniores de nivel intermedio alto y avanzado la posibilidad de participar en el programa "Espíritu emprendedor" de dos semanas.
En lugar de los cursos de inglés de mañana, los estudiantes participarán en talleres y cursos de liderazgo.
El Programa Empresarial combina conocimientos académicos, juegos de simulación y proyectos para ayudarles a que comprendan el ecosistema de la empresa y cómo el liderazgo tiene un impacto sobre el éxito.
Los estudiantes gozarán una ventaja para su entrada en el mundo de los negocios.
Por la tarde, los estudiantes podrán participar en una de tres actividades propuestas en su campus tales como el programa " Classic ", University Explorer, Film Explorer o Sports Explorer (según campus).
Este programa es exclusivamente reservado para los estudiantes de alto nivel que no necesitan una instrucción diaria para adquirir competencias en inglés. Los estudiantes harán una prueba de nivel a la llegada para determinar si respetan las exigencias de nivel para participar en este programa.

Entrepreneurship Program Sample Topics:

  • The ecosystem of business
    - Management and leadership
    - Creating a business plan
    - Communication and presentation skills
    - Critical success factors
    - How to read the business section of the newspaper
    - How to “pitch an idea”
    - Forming your business teams
    Included in the programme :
  • Full-board residence hall accommodation (18 meals per week).
  • Daily afternoon activities (Monday-Friday)
  • Full-day excursion each Sunday
  • Optional evening activities and Saturday excursions ( additional fees)
  • Local transportation and airport transfer

The campus is located a 10 minute walk from the ELC classrooms on the UCLA campus. The rooms included: bed, desk, wardrobe, telephone. There are bathrooms separated by gender on each floor, as well as a laundry room. Meals take place in the campus cafeteria. The students benefit from the campus facilities, including a pool, fitness center, recreation center, tennis and squash courts and a library. Bed linens are included, but please bring your own towels. A security deposit of 150 US$ will need to be paid on arrival
