The Zentrale Mittelstufen Prüfung (ZMP) tests both your written and oral capabilities. Numerous German universities will not make you take extraneous language exams after presenting this certificate of ZMP completion!
This exam indicates a C1 language level (strong intermediate) to the European Council.
