IELTS - International English Language Testing System Course description
THE IELTS includes 4 tests:
Written comprehension:
- 40 questions (1 hour 15 minutes)
- Contains three parts
- Texts are extracted from magazines, books and newspapers
Oral comprehension:
- 40 questions (30 minutes)
- The first two parts concern questions about daily life, focused on educational problems or on teaching
- The test is recorded on a CD that you will only have one chance to listen to
Written expression:
- 1 hour and 15 minutes
- The first composition must be approximately 150 words
- The second composition must be approximately 250 words
Oral expression:
- Individual interview (15 minutes)
- Length :
about 4 hours
The scores range from 1 to 9.5 (The average score is between 5 and 7 points).
