The ELYTE test, created by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, aims to estimate the capacity of communication of each candidate in professional business contexts. The ELYTE test measures the language skill level and allows students find the additional needs in their language training. The test measures 4 skills: written comprehension, professional vocabulary, oral comprehension, and active grammar.
This test is intended for professionals and allows validation of various domains, such as general knowledge, corporate culture, economy, commercial negotiation.
This test is for those who want to work in a company in Spain or Latin America.

Course description

The test measures 4 skills:

  • Oral comprehension
  • Written comprehension

Documents relative to the economy, to test vocabulary, grammar and professional vocabulary

  • Active grammar

  • Length :

    3 hours

    • The scoring of this exam is based on a scale of 990 points.
    If you obtain between:

    • 200 and 310 points, you are at level A1 or the Elementary level
    • 311 and 400 points, you are at level A2 or Strong Elementary level
    • 410 and 500 points, you are at level B1 or the Pre-intermediate level
    • 501 and 610 points, you are at level B2 or the Intermediate level
    • 620 and 835 points, you are at level C1 or the Strong Intermediate level
    • 840 and 990 points you are at level C2 or the Advanced level
