Home Teaching programs are an exciting and effective way to learn a language. Live in your teacher’s home and receive personalized lessons adapted especially to your everyday needs. It guarantees you complete immersion into the language.
Learn throughout the the day and receive formal one-on-one lessons. Your course is designed especially for your needs, not for a large group. Please note we insist that all our teachers must have a University Degree or a State Teaching Certificate. Expect to receive individual attention and experience total immersion into both language and culture.

The overall objective of this program is to make rapid progress in the language, with special emphasis on improving oral ability. As always, students play an active role in family life, joining in on conversation at mealtimes, meeting new people and experiencing the culture of the country.

  • Lesson Length : 60 min.
  • Course : Monday to Friday

Individual tuition + general activities
The programme includes language lessons, informal activities, full-board accommodation, entrance fees and transport.
They are a very good way to practice your language skills outside lessons.
Informal activities (shopping, cinema, local visits, the beach, mini-golf, bowling, town walk, swimming pool, bus tour, etc.) are decided between you and your teacher after you arrive.

A way to practice the language " in vivo " to enrich your vocabulary and develop your oral fluency.
All costs included (entrance fees, sports equipment hire, transport etc.) for the student & the accompanying person.
You can add extra language lessons.

Live and Study in Your Teacher’s Home & general activities - Teacher’s Home Language Course - Sussex Immersion programme in a mini-group of 4 participants 10 lessons per week (10:00 hours)


2 weekCourses start June 2024

Immersion programme in a mini-group of 2 weeks:
You share a teacher with 3 other participants with the same language level as you.
Accommodation with the teacher or a family living nearby in a double room.
The programme includes per week :
10 language lessons + 10 hours of general activities + 5 hours of supervised personal work.
The 2-week module also includes an excursion (depending on where the teacher lives).


Learn English in your teacher’s home in a small group of 4 students.
A great opportunity to make new friends and achieve your language goals through group lessons, interaction and activities, guided and accompanied by an experienced host teacher.
This two week programme includes:
• 10h lessons & 10h activities per week
• 5h supervised homework per week
• 1 Saturday Excursion

Monday: Brighton Pier and Shopping in the Laines
Tuesday: Sea Life centre
Wednesday: Seven Sisters Country Park
Thursday: Mini Golf
Friday : Games afternoon
Saturday: London shopping and sightseeing
Week 2
Sunday : Beach
Monday: Laserquest
Tuesday: Lewes or Bodiam Castle visit
Wednesday: Ten Pin Bowling
Thursday: Baking or Crafts
Friday: Smugglers Caves Experience or swimming
Saturday: Departure

What you need to know: the host teachers have the right to examine the profile of the students they receive at home. They are free to accept or refuse the students we present to them.
During the high season (July and August) there are a lot of bookings on certain destinations, you have to indicate 3 distinct geografical zones and possibly various dates of stay in order to widen the possibilities of placement.
