FCE Preparation Course - First Certificate in English

• Minimum level required : Pre-intermediate to Advanced

FCE Flexi: students study all morning classes covering all components of the FCE examination and utilising FCE focused material. Full-time students can choose to study in the afternoon the most appropriate Option class for their particular study needs

Minimum study period of 4 weeks- Maximum study period of 10 weeks per level
A pre-test must be taken to approve entry into the course
Teachers monitor student progress towards achieving the expectations on an ongoing basis by using various strategies such as homework assignments, weekly progress tests, projects, class presentations and observations
Paper and computer-based exams available
Available to students on working holiday & visitor visas only

The course includes :

• 25 hours per week (including Friday afternoon activities)
• Cambridge Retreat – on a weekend in the beginning of the course
• FCE paper-based exam at the end of the course
• A pre-test must be taken to approve entry into the course

Langports Cambridge Retreat
The Langports Cambridge Retreat is an overnight excursion, which takes place on a Friday and Saturday at the beginning of the Cambridge Course. Held in the Gold Coast hinterland, students can go bush walking, play football and see Australian wildlife. They will experience a typical Aussie BBQ and spend time getting to know other students and teachers in the Cambridge team. Students and staff also participate in fun team-building activities such as rock climbing, kayaking and surfing. Fun is had by all and the BBQ is great!
Examination fees are not included in the course prices. You can pay at school or when you are booking your stay (see option).
