This course introduces key business concepts and topics, while allowing you to develop practical skills within real business scenarios such as presentations, negotiations, telephone conversations, meetings and discussions. This is a specialized language program that caters to your professional needs!

Founded in 1992, Tamwood's Vancouver English center is a medium-sized school with very high standards and a personal approach for its adult language students .
Tamwood's Vancouver English school is 2 minutes from Vancouver's main Robson Street shopping district, and a 5 minute walk or a short bus ride from live theater, concerts, museums, art galleries, several of the city's finest beaches and the world famous Stanley Park.

Business English Course - Tamwood International College - Vancouver Choose the number of weeks

Combines specialized classes in International Business English communication skills with essential English language skills training. This course is designed to give students the English skills they need to work effectively in today’s global market place. The afternoon classes allow students to develop their Business English skills and vocabulary through exercises, case studies, role plays and research on business topics including: I.T., finance, accounting, marketing, advertising, sales, negotiation, business practices, and cultural comparisons in business operations. In the business presentations class, students learn the proper English to be used in presenting business plans, making financing pitches and making sales presentations. Visits to businesses may be arranged during the course to learn specific vocabulary related to certain industries. Students should be ready for a significant amount of reading, group work, assignments and research in the course.

Homestay students are placed with carefully selected Canadian families that offer a secure and friendly environment. The host family provides basic information on how to function in Canada such as: how to use the bus system to go to and from school, where to. shop,and how to get to such places as the local library, the neighborhood recreation centre and the nearest pharmacy. 4 students maximum per homestay. Shared homestay is for students travelling together
