General English + TOEFL Preparation

20 lessons General English plus 10 lessons of specialised training for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Total 30 lessons per week.
The Test of English as a Foreign Language is also used by universities, predominantly in North America, to determine a student’s language level for academic study. The course focuses on he reading, writing, speking and listening strategies and skills particularly relevan to the exam.
In this program, you:

• Become familiar with the differents accents you may hear in the exam;
• Learn exam strategies that work;
• Be well-prepared with regular testing and mock exams;
• Improve your general language skills and level of English.

There are no TOEFL test centers in Oxford; the closest is in London - the school will not be able to help you to register.
Before courses begin, students are tested to make sure that they are enrolling for the appropriate exam. All students are interviewed upon arrival and given advice about their prospects. There are regular progress tests, individual tutorials, and a full set of mock exams.
