The high school programme is for students who wish to experience academic life in the UK. This is the perfect opportunity to develop academic knowledge and improve your English language skills.
THE PROGRAMME
3 Academic Subjects + English Classes + Art or Sport + Leisure Activities& Social Events² = High School programme
All students are given an individual timetable combining their chosen subjects with English classes and one-to-one tutorials to discuss academic progress. In addition, students can enjoy arts or sports classes, plus weekly leisure and social events, making our High School Programme a truly exciting experience.

  • Up to 6 hours of English classes with our international students
  • Approximately 20 hours of tuition per week
  • Access to Sports or Arts classes

Leisure activities and social programme
Students enjoy a wide variety of organised sports, leisure activities and social events for a full and exciting educational experience.
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE²: Rock Climbing, Football, yoga Badminton, Bowling, Pool, Cinema, Trips to London, Brighton, Stonehenge and many other UK attractions.
A range of different sports teams practice on wednesday afternoons.
Note: Students receive FREE access to the gym while staying in residential accommodation; a gym induction is required.

The course fee includes:

  • Most activities are free, however, Saturday excursions are subjected to a surcharge.
  • Access to distance learning service. These e-learning courses are available for the preparation of the course of 8 weeks before the start of their training. It will help you improve your speaking skills, develop your skills in reading and comprehension of of texts, also learning and reinforce your grammar.

  • Being in possession of an EU passport and have lived in Europe for at least 3 years before registering.

Westgate Halls are for those students who are 18 and over. It provides superb self-catering or full board student accommodation for 160 residents. Within this over 18s accommodation, all rooms are single and en-suite with some having been specifically designed to meet the needs of disabled students. Cooking utensils, crockery and bedding are not provided this must be brought by the student. Westgate is a secure building with a swipe card entry system for each block, flat and individual room. There is a Halls Supervisor available between 8.30am and 10.30pm. After 10.30pm a Security Warden is on duty solely for the Halls of Residence. Westgate hall of residence is open over holiday periods meaning that student residents of the hall can stay in Westgate over holiday periods. Alternatively if the students intend to visit home they do not need to take all their belongings with them. Woodlands provides secure accommodation for 106 students between 16-17yrs old at the time of admission. This on-campus student accommodation comprises single and twin-bedded study bedrooms, some of which are en-suite. Shower and toilet facilities are situated on each floor of the 16-18yrs old accommodation. Woodlands hall is staffed 24 hours a day by trained supervisors. All communal corridors have been fitted with CCTV to create a positive and safe environment. Student privacy remains a priority and there. is a clear CCTV policy to ensure this. Woodlands hall of residence is closed over Easter and Christmas holiday periods. We understand that not all students can go home during the holidays. With this in mind we can help you arrange Homestay accommodation during this time. Refundable damage waiver and key deposit of 200 GBP, due in advance.
