Teacher Training Program (Frankfurt in Germany)

This is a refresher course for foreign language teachers that also provides an opportunity for teachers to enrich their knowledge of the language by having direct contact with the culture of the country, and interaction with fellow teachers from other countries.

For more than 35 years, we have focused on teaching German as a foreign language.
The easiest way to study the German language is here with us in Germany! Because studying deutsch in deutschland means learning the language and getting to know German culture at the same time – our everyday life and business life. You can find exciting cities and many different types of countryside here. Studying German at did deutsch-institute also means discovering Germany.

  • Course : Monday to Friday

Teacher Training Program - Did Deutsch-Institut - Frankfurt Choose the number of weeks

The teacher training course is a mix of three parts:
1. study german as a student: general german group course (20 lessons per week // higher level B2/C1)
2. study german as an observer: the participant will be observing a different class and will get to know a variety of pedagogical methods (4 lessons per week)
3. study german as a critic: speaking about curriculums, pedagogical approaches, educational concepts (2 lessons per week).
The 2-week course takes place year-round and costs € 650 and includes:

  • placement test / personal assessment interview
  • teacher training / 26 lessons per week
  • certificate at the end of the course
  • 2 activities/week (admission and fare not included)
  • weekend excursions (admission and fare not included)
