A standard course is generally less than 22 hours a week.

The school is located in the center of Cork.
Free access to the E-learning platform for the time of booking to three months after course completion.

Semester Program Abroad - Cork English College - CEC Semester - General English 20 lessons per week (20:00 hours)

24 weekCourses start every Monday April 2024

This course is for students studying for 25 weeks. It is open to all levels and on completion of this course students take one of the following internationally recognised exams: the Cambridge (PET/FCE/CAE), IELTS, Trinity College of London ISE Examination course or TIE examination course.
During the first week, students have a special induction meeting with a staff member to discuss their course and wich exam they will take at the end of their stay.
Students’ progress is monitored carefully and student regularly review their learning plan with teachers.
When they have reached the minimum required level, students transfer to relevant exam course. Students register to their chosen exam directly with CEC.
This programme includes:

  • 20 lessons par week

  • evening social programme
  • access to the E-learning platform
  • certificate of attendance at the end of the course
  • welcome pack, map an notepad

Transfert to and from Cork airport included ( if host family accommodation arrangerd)

Our Residential apartments are self-catering and consist of 5 or 6 bedrooms, with a shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Bed linen can be hired from the apartments but students must bring their own towels. All kitchen utensils, crockery etc. are provided and laundry facilities are available. There is broadband in all rooms. Apartments are cleaned on a weekly basis. The campus is based just 15 minutes from the school and is close to public transport and local amenities. On arrival students are requested to call the number provided to arrange a suitable meeting point. Arrivals will not be accepted later than 12 midnight
