This is a two week program reserved for students 50+ who wish to learn the Italian language, while also experiencing Italian art and culture.

Linguaviva has been offering international students the opportunity to study Italian and Italian culture in Florence since 1976.
The school is centrally located, on a quiet street next to the main railway station.

The program includes:

  • 18 Italian language courses per week, oriented towards oral expression
  • Historical visits in Florence
  • Italian food and wine: a welcome dinner, an Italian cooking class, wine tasting, and an excursion to Chianti, theoretical courses, discussion on La Cucina Italiani, a visit to St. Ambrogio Market, and a visit to a chocolate and ice cream factory
  • Excursions to Siena, San Gimignano, Piza or Lucca, and Cinque Terre.
  • Activities: shopping, a night at the opera, a visit to the famous Santa Maria Novella Farmacia
