This 2 week course has been conceived exclusively for people older than 50 years old. The course covers language, art, culture and the pleasure of being all together while learning and by deepening your knowledge of certain subjects which make of Rome an unforgettable city.
This program is a mixture of language, art, and culture. Both aspects of the program aim to improve a student’s knowledge on the aspects of Rome that make this city so unforgettable. Aside from 40 hours of language lessons in the morning (offered at all levels), the program includes the following activities:
- Trip by private coach to Villa Adriana (in Tivoli)
- Trip by private coach to the Castelli Romani area including a visit to a wine cellar, wine-tasting and dinner on Castelgandolfo Lake
- Cooking lessons and dinner
- 2 guided tours around Rome
- 2 seminars on art history
- Excursion to Pompei and Naples (Saturday).
Italian teachers who have a great deal of knowlege on Italian archeology and art history will guide these trips. Each tour is conducted in Italian.
