The Intensive TOEFL Preparation Course is designed to help students acquire the skills and confidence necessary to get a high TOEFL score.

English Language Academy is ideally located in the center of Sliema and offers courses truly adapted for students and for adults, prioritizing their goals and interests. The school has been kept small so it can offer a friendly atmosphere and personal service.

ELA is presently the only certified TOEFL iBT test center in Malta, meaning that our TOEFL students have the added advantage of sitting for their exam on their school premises.This increasingly popular exam is offered on a monthly basis, thus giving students a much need flexibility which is not so readily available with other examination boards. ELA also boasts of the most comprehensive and up to date collection of study material and software on the island, toghether with tutors specialised in preparaing you for this exam.

This lodging option allows you to get to know the Maltese culture in the best way possible, all the while practicing your English. Lodging in single or double room (most difficult during the summer period). All of our families are located in the Sliema/St. Julian’s area, close to the sea and within walking distance of the school. Transfers are compulsory

Students are encouraged to bring their own personal towel. When booking one of these apartments, students are kindly requested to book at least an arrival transfer so they are given the key to get into the apartment. WIFI, weekly cleaning and weekly change of linen included. refundable dammage deposit of 100 euros is required. This must be payed the first day of school and will be returned on the last day pending any issues relating to the appartment.
