Spanish and Cooking (Benalmadena in Spain)

This is a 2 week program that combines general Spanish courses including 20 language lessons per week, with cooking lessons, and visits and activities related to food and wine.
Students will have cooking classes, followed by dinner twice a week, discussions about local food and wine, local food and wine related excurions, and a farewell lunch. This is a great linguistic and cultural program!

The Costa del Sol is famous for the sun and its beaches... studying Spanish at the Colegio Maravillas will give you the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful settings, and of course discover the rich culture of southern Spain!

Spanish and Cooking - Colegio Maravillas Cooking classes 20 lessons per week (18:20 hours)

Timetable: from 9:00 to 11:00 for language classes and 3 afternoons are dedicated to cooking classes
Language courses are focused on grammar, speaking and listening as well as pronunciation.
Courses for the more advanced levels (Intermediate (B2) to Advanced (C2)) are more focused on comprehension, communication, writing, idioms, oral presentations and role plays.
The cooking class focuses on Spanish gastronomy and Mediterranean cuisine. Good food and good food is an integral part of Spanish culture.

Staying with a host – family is an interesting alternative to a stay in an apartment or a hotel and offers, moreover, an excellent opportunity to get to know the Spanish lifestyle. Most of our host-families live within walking distance of the school, others live at 10 to 15 minute train/bus ride.
