The internship program has been designed specifically for students and professionals of intermediate or advanced level who wish to improve and put into practice their language skills with a true work experience in an American environment.

Language Course + Training - Celtic English Academy Programs 20 lessons per week (15:00 hours)

You must study one of our General English or intensive General English courses for a minimum of 4 weeks. After this, you will be able to carry out an unpaid work placement with a local employer for 4-12 weeks.
Only EU or EEA nationals, as well as Japanese, South Korean and Taiwanese students on a Youth Mobility Visa, are eligible for the Internship Programme.
The school will organise your third sector work placement for you. You will be asked to complete an internship application form, expressing fields of work you are interested in, and provide us with an up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV).
Work experience is available in the following fields:

Location: city centre, next to Cardiff Central Station. Check in: Sunday 15:00 onward. Check out: Sunday 9:00 at the latest. Includes:. • Communal living area with digital TV and vending machine. • 4ft double bed with under bed storage. • Desk area for self-study. • Bedding and towels are provided by Celtic English Academy. • En-suite shower, toilet and sink. • Free WiFi. • Bike storage. • Laundry facility. • Manned reception area 24 hours a day. There is no single sex accommodation in standard residential accommodation. A refundable residence deposit of £100 is payable at the time of booking. This will be refunded upon check out.

These contemporary apartments are for students aged 30+ They offer students the opportunity to live with their friends in a self-contained cluster flat whilst still enjoying the common room facilities available to all students. Each room is fully furnished with:

  • Double bed (4 ft wide) with under bed storage
  • Wardrobe, shelving
  • Storage drawers
  • Desk with desk chair
  • Wired broadband in all bedrooms and wireless Internet throughout the whole building
  • En-suite shower, toilet and sink
  • Blackout blinds
  • Bed linen and a towel (provided by Celtic English Academy).
