The Earlscliffe Intensive course is enriching, motivational, stimulating and unique. It is intended for intermediate English level learners and above.

This Easter program in Sussex provides a structured yet varied programme that teaches the English Language while encouraging students to get know one another through the activities and excursions.
Maximum stay is 2 weeks.
General English plus multi-activities
We offer twenty lessons per week (16 hours) with the morning classes focusing on the four skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening, and our afternoon sessions being more interactive project lessons involving drama, music, film, arts and crafts and even debating for the more advanced learners.
Given the unpredictable weather at this time of year, we do offer more trips and indoor sports on our programme than you would find in the summer. Given our traditional Easter special offer, we believe that this course offers fantastic value for money.

The programme Includes :

  • accommodation,
  • meals : full board
  • 20 English Language lessons (16 hours),
  • all general sports, activities and events,
  • two full day excursions including all admission & transport costs,
  • weekly scheduled afternoon trips,
  • internet access
  • laundry service (for 2 week stays)
  • Transfers are included in the course fees for flights arriving and departing between 9am–3pm on scheduled arrival days
    Return transfers to/from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Ashford Eurostar station for flights/trains

Not included:

  • Medical assurance
  • Pocket money

Additional fee for students traveling as UM.

CULTURAL VISITS
2 day trips per week including a weekly trip to London; as well as cinema, ten-pin bowling, laser tag and shopping trips.
OUR ACTIVITIES
Earlscliffe offers a balance of sports, cultural events, arts and crafts, fun games, walks and
competitions, so there is something for everyone on the programme.
Students play volleyball, basketball, badminton, billiards and table tennis on-site. Our supervised
afternoon and evening activities include karaoke nights; football; softball; ‘Earlscliffe’s Got Talent’;swimming; house competitions; themed disco nights; ‘Minute to Win It’; tennis; ‘Scavenger Hunt’;
rounders; ‘Jeux sans Frontières’; ‘Bake Off’ and quiz nights, to name just a few.
Regular daytime and evening beach trips are a popular part of the week’s activities.

The arrival day may change (Saturday or Sunday) - please check dates. Most rooms. are spacious twin rooms with private. WC and bathroom. Each student has. their own wardrobe and desk space. All rooms are Wi-fi connected. The. high standard of accommodation is. attractive to today’s students, and. all the more so given the beautiful. Victorian façade of the building in. which it sits. Meals are taken in the college dining. room and prepared by our own chef. and team. Meals are varied and. often international, such as Chinese,. Mexican or Indian, but not forgetting. occasional British fish and chips!. Any student’s special dietary needs. can be catered for, i.e. vegetarian,. non-dairy etc.
