What is included:

• 20 Lessons English Language Tuition Weekly from 9 am to 12.15pm
  The average number of students per class is 10-12 with a maximum of 15.
  Classes are interactive and the main focus is on improving the students’ spoken ability and vocabulary expansion. All students undertake a placement test on arrival to ensure that they are placed in a class with students of a similar ability.

Welcome to the home of Munster Rugby!!
During the afternoon rugby training sessions the English learnt in the classroom will be reinforced on the rugby pitch with the English speaking professional coaches. The coaching will focus on all aspects of the game and may include tackling, taking the ball into contact, ball handling skills and performing skills under pressure. The coaching methods will depend on the age of the students. Students will also participate in fixtures with Irish teams. Three evening activities per week are also included along with a full day excursion to a venue outside Cork every Saturday.
Academic:
The morning lessons commence at 9 am and finish at 12.15pm from Monday to Friday. Classes are interactive and the main focus is on improving the students’ spoken ability and vocabulary expansion. Teachers are native English speakers and fully qualified in the teaching of English as a foreign language. All possess a primary degree in addition to TEFL qualifications. All centres are recognised by the Irish Dept. of Education. The use of course materials is included.
Accommodation:
Students on this programme reside with carefully selected Irish host families. Accommodation is offered on a full board basis. Students share a room with a student of another nationality. This allows students to experience Irish family life while continuing to put their language skills to practical use.
