Summer language program for Teenagers
Junior programme LA Torrance

The junior programme includes :

• Language courses
  Mon – Fri 20 lessons (of 45 minutes each) 15 hours 9:00 – 12:30
  Our Standard Course guarantees a dramatic boost to your confidence in a foreign language, with focussedteaching in all 4 skill areas-speaking, listening, reading and writing.
  Our Intensive Course ( when available) builds on our Standard Course, with additional 10
  lessons per week, guaranteeing the fastest possible language acquisition.
  Students who choose the Intensive Course have additional lessons between 13:00 and 14:30.
• placement test
  Students are placed into classes according to their current language skills. The majority of our students take an online language test prior to commencing their programme, however if this is not available students sit the exam on the first Monday of their course.
  Learning materials are provided to students throughout their course,
• Accommodation : homestay or residence full board
• activity programme
  The learning journey continues as soon as classes finish! With our comprehensive leisure programme students have the opportunity to really discover their chosen destination.
  A two-week language course generally includes a big variety of activities plus at least 1 full-day excursion and 2 half-day excursions (see table below for more details). Of course, students are also given some freetime to socialise in the afternoons and evenings!
  Throughout the trip learners are accompanied by our „Teamers”; Teamers are also responsible
  for the organisation of the leisure activity programme. Students aged 17 and under are expected to
  observe a curfew and follow the full leisure programme.

We strongly recommend good medical coverage. Take with you a proof of coverage : this can be asked on arrival.
