Summer language program for Teenagers
San Diego Downtown Teen Program

• Minimum level required : Elementary to Intermediate

Teen course - General English
CEL Teen Camps provides English language instruction that has been designed specifically for young learners of all levels between the ages of 14-18, from Basic to Advanced English. Students will have 20 lessons per week, 4 lessons
per weekday. You will learn all aspects of English including speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and writing.
Price includes :

• 20 lessons per week
• Registration fee, accommodation placement fee
• All learning materials
• Accommodation in a host family twin room with 3 meals per day except Saturdays (20 meals/week)
• Bus pass
• Activity program : 4 half-day activities/week.
  Every Saturday a full day trip (students coming for 3 weeks have 2 weekend excursions, students coming for 4 weeks have 3 excursions, etc.).
  Not included in the price:
• transfer service
• Unaccompanied minor service:
• Travel insurance
• Pocket money
• Transport ticket to USA from the participant’s country of origin.

Accommodation
All CEL homestays include a shared room accommodation with breakfast and dinner (plus lunch on Sundays), free wifi, towel and linens. Most CEL students take full advantage of San Diego’s great public transportation system. All
the families are an average of 45 minutes (max. 75 minutes) away from the school using the city bus or trolley.
You can also choose to stay in a single room accommodation as well. Single room accommodations are perfect for the student that would like more room or privacy.
Lunch
CEL provides lunch from Monday to Friday at school. You will
enjoy a variety of delicious meals with your friends and classmates
before you head off to an exciting afternoon activity
Activities & excursions
We know that part of your learning happens outside the classroom, so we plans and arranges a fun and exciting activity program including excursions outside of San Diego for you! From local hotspots to California’s best
cities, you will be able to enjoy visiting all of what Southern California has to offer with your new friends and classmates!
CEL makes sure you get the best experience possible while you are studying in the US.
CEL has some great activities for you to do during the week so that you can bond with your fellow classmates while experiencing all San Diego has to offer. Enjoy the San Diego sun, playing games such as flag football and baseball!
Or cheer for the local Major League baseball team The Padres at Petco Park!
There are many places that some students would like to go to but are located outside of San Diego. We provide excursions with transportation on Saturday so you can visit attractions such as Disneyland, Seaworld, Universal Studios, Los Angeles and much more without the hassle of planning it yourself!

Future Global Leaders
This program is directed to students bwith a minimum level of upper-intermediate
(B2) who are willing to improve their speaking skills in English in a multicultural and project based learning setting.
3 weeks/session
The Future Global Leaders Program gives learners the opportunity to develop further soft skills while using English as a language of communication in a cross-cultural environment. Through debates, presentations and case studies the learners are going to reinforce public speaking techniques, learn to be persuasive in sales situations and to acquire a general business knowledge while enhancing intercultural values, respect and teamwork.
