The internship program has been designed specifically for students and professionals of intermediate or advanced level who wish to improve and put into practice their language skills with a true work experience in an American environment.

You can take advantage of the school's unique location just right the Third Street Promenade, which provides access to some of the best restaurants, bars and numerous shops and is home to many street performers who will dazzle you with their tricks, talents and comedy acts.

With the English Plus Experience program, students can improve their English at CEL while gaining valuable experience at a company in California. We match students with qualified organizations that are excited to share their culture and knowledge. They will also have the benefit of intensive English classes with our certified teachers.
The English plus Experience program:
4 weeks General English 23+ 8 weeks work experience -10 to15 hours per week (participants must be flexible to work weekends as well as weekdays).
The duration of the internship must not be less than 8 weeks.
