English High School Year

High School Year

Academic year programs typically follow the traditional “junior year abroad” model, where students spend a full academic year immersed in another culture and language. All of your classes for that academic year are conducted abroad and you live and work as though you have truly relocated your education to that country. These programs are ideal for students who are confident in their ability to thrive while living abroad and want to commit to a nine month program.

To participate in these programs there are pre-requisites such as:
• Be at least 15/18 years
• Have a good knowledge of the local language
• Be motivated and wish to participate fully
• Do not be prejudiced and show curiosity
• Demonstrate maturity, independence and personal initiative.

Term, Semestre or Academic Year Abroad

Studying and living abroad for a term or academic year is seen as an adventure for most students.
Studying at either a public or private school offers more than classes; programmes such as study skills, motivation and social activities complete the timetable.
