Tutors are here to help and support all students, and are committed to helping you make the most of your time at college.
When you start College you will be assigned a Student Tutor or a Personal Tutor. Your tutor will keep a watchful eye on your progress and will be there to help you throughout your time here. They will talk to you about what you are hoping to achieve on your college course and what you want to do next. Together you will agree personal objectives for you to achieve and then you will discuss how you are getting on with these through the year. We expect that all our students attend all of the time and tutors will give their support in helping you in achieving this.
If you have any difficulties and are worried about how this is affecting your college work, you can meet with your tutor. They can discuss things with you and try and help you make sense of them or guide you to other support services in college, such as our counselling team, or to outside help.

This modern, state of the art facility contains a large multi-purpose sports hall, which is fully equipped for a wide range of sporting activities such as badminton, basketball, football, trampolining etc.
Completely covering one end of the hall is a large climbing wall, designed with a variety of routes to suit novice and experienced climbers alike. The first floor is home to the College’s ‘Bodyworks’ fitness suite, which offers a full range of professional fitness classes, apparatus and services. Spacious changing rooms provide lockers, showers and toilet facilities.
Outside is a large floodlit astro-turf pitch, suitable for football and hockey, plus tennis courts, a rugby pitch and a trim-trail obstacle course.
The sports hall and astro-turf pitch are available for hire and our prices offer superb value for money.
